About the role
Reed Education is seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to support a range of primary schools in Leeds. You will work in a nurturing, caring environment, helping students succeed on their educational journey.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the classroom for each session alongside class teachers.
- Provide small‑group or individual support to pupils as needed.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and record‑keeping.
- Support teachers in managing student behaviour.
Required profile
- Patient and able to build strong relationships with children.
- Empathetic, kind, caring and approachable.
- Experience working with special‑needs students.
- Strong behavioural management skills.
- Current Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Relevant childcare qualification.
- Minimum six months of experience; Level 3 qualification ideal (Level 2 accepted).
- Available to start immediately.
