Experimentation Analyst

About the role

The Financial Times is seeking an Experimentation Analyst to join its central Insight & Analytics team. You will support company‑wide experimentation, analyse test results, and share insights across Marketing, Product, Editorial and other digital stakeholders. The role requires flexibility to work with multiple experimentation tools and a strong commercial mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Provide test analysis and support to stakeholders across the business.
• Assist teams with pre‑test metric evaluation, post‑test analysis, documentation and regular communication.
• Act as the primary contact for day‑to‑day testing questions and help embed analysts in ground‑level tests.
• Promote best practices, maintain consistency in experiment reporting, and contribute to the quarterly Experimentation newsletter.

Required profile

• 2+ years of analyst experience.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Hands‑on experience with A/B testing or experimentation.
• Strong statistical background and ability to communicate complex analysis to senior stakeholders.
• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, Psychology or a related numerate discipline.
