Family Law Paralegal – Full‑Time (Bishop's Stortford)

About the role

We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join an established firm with a strong reputation. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop expertise in matrimonial and other private family matters while receiving full support from senior solicitors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to clients on divorce, financial and separation agreements, and Children Act proceedings.
• Manage private family cases, predominantly matrimonial, from initial intake through to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare documentation for court filings.
• Maintain accurate client files and case management records.
• Support senior lawyers with case preparation and client communications.

Required profile

• Recent qualification or experience in family law.
• Strong interest in matrimonial matters and a desire to expand legal knowledge.
• Ability to work under supervision and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
