Field Interviewer – Motherwell (Part‑time)

About the role
We are looking for a part‑time Field Interviewer to visit households in Motherwell and collect research data on topics such as health, housing and transport. You will use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and record real‑life experiences, working directly in the community.
Key responsibilities
- Knock on doors and conduct face‑to‑face interviews with residents who have received a prior invitation.
- Use a tablet or laptop to capture responses accurately and securely.
- Manage your schedule to cover weekdays, evenings and weekends as required.
- Report any issues or refusals in accordance with project guidelines.
Required profile
- Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
- Class 1 business insurance for vehicle use.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete a DBS check.
- Reliable home broadband and a laptop or tablet with a camera.
- At least 18 hours availability per week and flexibility for varied shifts.
Required skills
- Comfortable using basic technology (tablet/laptop) for data entry.
- Strong verbal and written English communication.
What we offer
- £20‑£30 per interview plus admin fees, holiday pay and travel reimbursements.
- Average hourly rate of about £15.12, with bonuses after launch and at two‑month intervals.
- Flexible part‑time hours that can fit around other commitments.
