Field Interviewer – Motherwell (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Field Interviewer to visit households in Motherwell and collect research data on topics such as health, housing and transport. You will use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and record real‑life experiences, working directly in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Knock on doors and conduct face‑to‑face interviews with residents who have received a prior invitation.
• Use a tablet or laptop to capture responses accurately and securely.
• Manage your schedule to cover weekdays, evenings and weekends as required.
• Report any issues or refusals in accordance with project guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Class 1 business insurance for vehicle use.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Reliable home broadband and a laptop or tablet with a camera.
• At least 18 hours availability per week and flexibility for varied shifts.

Required skills

• Comfortable using basic technology (tablet/laptop) for data entry.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

What we offer

• £20‑£30 per interview plus admin fees, holiday pay and travel reimbursements.
• Average hourly rate of about £15.12, with bonuses after launch and at two‑month intervals.
