Field Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on‑site service and maintenance of bespoke electromechanical equipment for a leading oil and gas client. The role is based in the South East, covering a local patch and operating Monday‑to‑Friday with extensive overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a range of electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to breakdown calls.
• Travel within a defined geographic area, ensuring timely on‑site support.
• Document work performed and report findings to the central engineering team.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality standards while on the job.

Required profile

• Proven experience in service or maintenance engineering.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training and develop technical expertise.
