Field Service Engineer – Weighing Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver maintenance, service and calibration for industrial and laboratory weighing equipment across the north of London area. The role involves travelling to client sites, building trusted relationships and ensuring work meets UKAS ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, service and calibrations on a range of industrial and laboratory weighing and measuring equipment.
• Diagnose and repair technical issues, providing clear explanations to customers.
• Keep accurate service, maintenance and warranty records.
• Ensure all work complies with UKAS ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Travel within a defined geographical area, with occasional flex to support other engineers.

Required profile

• Qualified C&G in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Experience with industrial or laboratory weighing and measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexible approach to ensure client issues are resolved promptly.
• Full driving licence and IT literacy.

Required skills

• Weighing equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Fault finding and repair of weighing systems.
• Knowledge of UKAS ISO 17025 standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Use of IT systems for accurate record keeping.
