Finance Assistant – Hybrid (Southwest London)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our collaborative finance team in Southwest London. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office, and offers a supportive environment for an ambitious finance professional to develop month‑end experience.

Key responsibilities

• Complete balance‑sheet, AP and bank reconciliations across multiple entities
• Manage high‑volume account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Support month‑end close and maintain the fixed‑asset register and depreciation schedules
• Assist with payroll journals, employee cost analysis and cost reporting
• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across finance and wider business functions

Required profile

• Experience in a finance role involving reconciliations and month‑end duties
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident Excel skills
• Exposure to accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations
• Experience with payroll or fixed‑asset accounting is a plus
