Finance Business Partnering Manager (Interim)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partnering Manager to join a busy finance function on an interim basis. This role will provide strategic financial support across multiple service areas within a large, complex organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial insight and support to various service areas.
• Contribute to transformation and improvement initiatives within the finance function.
• Lead, manage and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Support effective financial planning, governance and risk management frameworks.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver clear financial insight.
• Prioritise workloads, identify risks early and implement practical solutions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and strong organisational performance.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA) with substantial post‑qualified experience.
• Proven experience in a business partnering capacity.
• Strong leadership, organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good commercial awareness and insight into cost drivers and value creation.
• Experience supporting change initiatives within finance teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of financial management, controls and governance.
• Strong problem‑solving capability.
