Finance Director – Manufacturing (12‑month contract)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Director to join a well‑established international manufacturing business in North West London. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with strong potential to become permanent, and offers genuine influence over strategic decision‑making and a major ERP transformation project.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the senior leadership team to shape and deliver the company’s strategic direction, providing commercial insight and data‑driven recommendations.
• Lead all statutory accounting, management reporting and compliance activities in line with IFRS and group requirements.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, business plans and KPI dashboards that support performance improvement.
• Oversee financial controls, internal audit liaison and external audit relationships.
• Act as the UK business lead for the ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration with finance processes.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans and monitor business performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience at senior finance leadership level, preferably as Finance Director or equivalent, within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of managing large‑scale transformation projects, especially ERP roll‑outs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability to start within one month’s notice.
