Finance Litigation Lawyer (3+ PQE) – Liverpool or Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Litigation Lawyer with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join a well‑established commercial law firm’s Creditor Services team. The position is based in either Liverpool or Manchester and offers hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied finance litigation and recoveries caseload from inception to conclusion.
• Advise and build relationships with existing finance clients.
• Deliver high‑standard client service and respond promptly to enquiries.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Work towards financial and performance targets.
• Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate.
• Contribute to the growth of a commercially focused department.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years PQE with experience in finance litigation, commercial recoveries or related litigation.
• Proven ability to manage litigated matters independently.
• Strong knowledge of court procedures and litigation processes.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and deadline‑driven skills.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, commercially focused and client‑centric approach.
