Finance Manager – Hybrid – £40k-£45k – Full/Part Time

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to take ownership of the operational finance function for a fast‑growing commercial organisation in Taunton. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a strategic role in shaping financial performance while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, reporting and commercial analysis
• Conduct cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and KPI reporting
• Support investment and property acquisition activities
• Partner with senior leadership and budget holders on business decisions
• Lead and mentor a small finance team
• Identify efficiencies and opportunities for growth
• Utilise Xero and Office 365 to improve reporting and processes

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or Senior Management Accountant
• Commercially minded with strong analytical abilities
• Ability to think quickly, generate ideas and spot opportunities
• Experience leading and mentoring a small finance team
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, commercial environment
