Finance Manager – Transformation (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading organisation on a 12‑month contract. This role sits at the heart of a finance transformation programme, helping to modernise processes, increase automation and embed a high‑performing finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a commercially focused finance team.
• Drive finance transformation projects, standardising processes and increasing automation.
• Manage change initiatives across the finance function, ensuring stakeholder engagement.
• Support the transition of finance activities into a Shared Service Centre.
• Utilise Microsoft 365 tools (Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint) to enhance reporting and reduce manual work.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cost control and provide robust financial challenge.
• Deliver accurate month‑end reporting, KPI dashboards and management information.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve financial understanding and support strategic decisions.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience leading finance teams.
• Proven track record of finance transformation and process improvement.
• Experience driving automation and continuous improvement within finance.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and problem‑solving skills.
