Financial Accountant – Group Reporting & Tax

About the role

Our client, an established international business based in Weybridge, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its corporate finance team. The role offers a blend of technical accounting, tax and finance projects within a collaborative, people‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.
• Assist with group budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Help implement new accounting standards and technical accounting projects.
• Prepare accounting papers and ensure compliance with UK accounting requirements.
• Assist with corporation tax, tax reporting and compliance activities.
• Work closely with external auditors and professional advisers.
• Support finance systems development and reporting improvements.
• Contribute to process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with finance and non‑finance stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in financial accounting, group reporting or audit.
• Strong technical accounting awareness.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive and inquisitive approach.
• Exposure to tax, statutory reporting or systems projects is a plus.
