Financial Accountant - International Consumer Brand

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international retail and e‑commerce brand to find a motivated Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will gain valuable experience in financial accounting while supporting senior management and the wider finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Review profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Support senior management with statutory accounting and group consolidations.
• Contribute to corporate reporting and tax compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and related analysis.
• Collaborate with financial planning and commercial teams on ad‑hoc requests.
• Handle lease accounting and provide reporting support for a large property portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a formal accountancy qualification (or overseas equivalent).
• 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience, preferably with IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience from a client‑facing practice role or hands‑on industry accounting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Team‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
