Financial Accountant – Private Equity Firm

About the role

This newly created Financial Accountant position is for a Private Equity firm located in the heart of the City of London. It is a permanent role operating under a four‑day‑in‑the‑office policy, reporting directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the global group consolidation process.
• Perform duties within the management accounts process.
• Consolidate and review overseas subsidiaries into group management accounts.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts.
• Support the Head of Financial Control with technical accounting matters (IFRS).
• Liaise with external auditors and advisors.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with at least one year post‑qualification experience.
• Experience working on audit engagements for entities using various IFRS standards.
• Background in financial services or private equity.
• Tech‑savvy with interest in automation and AI to improve processes.
