Financial Advice Outcomes Specialist

About the role

This position is with a fast‑growing national wealth‑management firm. Working primarily from home, you will partner with the Compliance Director and the Training & Competency Manager to ensure that financial advice delivered by planners meets FCA standards and delivers positive client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial advice files against internal standards and FCA Consumer Duty requirements.
• Conduct outcomes‑based assessments of suitability under FCA COBS rules.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to advisers and recommend remedial actions.
• Identify trends, emerging risks and report findings to senior compliance staff.
• Support adviser development through training initiatives and coaching.
• Manage advice‑quality review workflows to completion.
• Capture accurate management information for compliance reporting.
• Assist with workshops, training sessions and broader compliance projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, advice quality or a related financial‑services role.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, particularly COBS and Consumer Duty.
• Ability to analyse advice files, spot risks and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience supporting adviser development and delivering training.
