Financial Analyst – FP&A (London)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑recognised consumer brand to hire an ambitious Financial Analyst for its London finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role offers high‑visibility commercial FP&A experience and direct interaction with senior leadership, including the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational managers across multiple locations to explain financial performance and drive commercial insight.
• Analyse revenue, profitability, margins, labour costs and other operational KPIs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and produce monthly performance reports with variance analysis.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating them into clear recommendations.
• Build and maintain financial models to aid commercial decision‑making and improve cost control.
• Visit business locations to strengthen stakeholder relationships and understand performance drivers.
• Help drive the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot to enhance analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of finance experience with a focus on commercial FP&A.
• Background in retail, hospitality, consumer or other multi‑site environments.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling.
• Strong business‑partnering skills with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Confidence communicating with senior leaders up to the CEO level.
• ACC​A or CIMA studies advantageous but not mandatory.
