Financial Analyst - TV and Entertainment

About the role

This position offers a part‑qualified accountant the chance to develop expertise in both Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting within a fast‑moving international media business. You will work across multiple territories, supporting the financial performance of TV and entertainment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for consolidating, forecasting and analysing international business units.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, including variance analysis and KPI commentary.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for overseas operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in group consolidation, inter‑company balance reviews and audit processes.
• Collaborate with finance teams and other departments across different countries and time zones.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) actively pursuing qualification.
• Previous experience in finance, accounting, FP&A or a related role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interest in the media/entertainment sector is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Financial modelling experience.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power BI (advantageous, not essential).
