Financial Controller (ACA/ACCA) – Hybrid, Central London

About the role

We are a fast‑growing creative business seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to work closely with the Finance Director. This hybrid role in Central London offers hands‑on leadership of a small finance team and exposure to reporting, commercial finance and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, management reporting and financial control.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activities.
• Produce insightful analysis, work‑in‑progress reporting and revenue recognition.
• Manage audits, VAT, statutory compliance and governance processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business.
• Improve finance processes, systems and reporting.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with practice training.
• Experience in a broad SME finance role as Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background.
• Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
• Experience managing audits and a small finance team.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with desire to make a visible impact.
