Financial Modeller – 3‑Month Contract (London)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing energy consultancy in London, is seeking an experienced Financial Modeller for a three‑month temporary assignment. You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders to build, maintain and enhance a group‑wide financial model covering nine legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Group financial model, ensuring data integrity across all entities.
• Resolve GL code mapping issues and optimise the model’s structure.
• Maintain cash‑flow, working‑capital, banking covenant and ROI models.
• Produce detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Develop scenario and "what‑if" models to evaluate business performance, opportunities and risk.
• Collaborate with senior finance partners to deliver robust modelling insights for business planning.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel proficiency with a proven track record of building and enhancing financial models from scratch.
• Immediate availability or notice period of one week.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, preferably within the energy sector.
