About the role

Hays Education is partnering with a variety of welcoming primary schools in Chippenham to find enthusiastic supply teachers. This flexible role lets you teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while fitting around your personal schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary‑age pupils.
• Follow each school’s policies and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and school settings.
• Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
