FM Estimator – Facilities Management Pricing Lead

About the role

Artic Building Services Ltd is seeking an experienced FM Estimator to lead pricing on public‑sector facilities management contracts. The role reports to the Business Development Director and works Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the accountable pricing lead on bids.
• Develop end‑to‑end pricing models covering labour, subcontractor costs and scenario modelling.
• Coordinate the pricing workstream, liaising with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Translate operational solutions into robust commercial submissions.
• Identify, quantify and manage risk and opportunity within each bid.
• Support governance processes and clearly articulate pricing decisions.
• Contribute to mobilisation and transition pricing.
• Continuously improve pricing methodologies and bid processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience pricing Facilities Management contracts in healthcare, education and commercial sectors.
• Background in FM or outsourced services environments.
• Strong Excel and commercial modelling capability.
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders across bid, commercial and operational teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for commercial modelling.
• Knowledge of SFG20 standards.
• Familiarity with HTM specifications.
• Commercial modelling and cost‑estimation expertise.
