Food & Beverage Server

About the role

Join the luxury hospitality team at Fairmont Southampton as a Food & Beverage Server, delivering personalized service and representing the hotel’s culinary excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional service, greet guests, present menus, and explain daily specials.
• Take accurate orders, communicate with kitchen/bar via POS, and process guest checks.
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensure proper presentation, and maintain table settings.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with the service team, assist colleagues during peak periods, and support overall restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a high‑volume restaurant or 1 year in a luxury hotel.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work varied shifts, stand for long periods, and lift/move furniture as needed.

Required skills

• Experience using a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
