FP&A Analyst – Commercial Finance (Hybrid, Woking)

About the role

This FP&A Analyst role sits within a highly commercial finance team of a well‑established consumer business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing forecasting, analysis and performance insight to support strategic decisions. The position offers hybrid working and exposure to both finance and operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quarterly forecasting cycles, annual budgeting and long‑term strategic planning.
• Deliver insightful financial reporting and performance analysis to aid business decision‑making.
• Produce detailed variance analysis, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support development of financial reporting tools, systems and processes.
• Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure consistency across planning and reporting.
• Provide ad‑hoc commercial analysis for strategic initiatives and projects.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis or management accounting.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships across finance and non‑finance teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for large data manipulation and financial modelling.
• Financial modelling capability.
