FP&A Analyst – Finance Planning & Analysis

About the role

Harper May Ltd is expanding its finance team within a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed wealth management group. This FP&A Analyst position offers high visibility, working closely with senior finance leaders and gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting and acquisition performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting and re‑forecasting process across the group.
• Build and maintain financial models to aid planning and decision‑making.
• Produce monthly management reports with variance analysis and commentary.
• Track performance against budget, flagging risks and opportunities early.
• Partner with business units to understand the numbers behind results.
• Prepare board and investor reporting packs.
• Analyse acquisition and integration performance.
• Improve FP&A processes, tools and reporting as the business scales.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified, finalist or recently qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• University degree.
• Strong Excel and financial‑modelling skills.
• Some experience in FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and turning them into clear insight.
• Confident communicator who works well with stakeholders.
