Fractional Finance & Operations Director (2 days/week)

About the role

We are seeking a Fractional Finance & Operations Director to join a fast‑growing, investor‑backed SaaS scale‑up. Working on‑site two days a week, you will own finance, day‑to‑day operations and HR, helping to build a robust back‑office as the business expands internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Own the finance function: management accounts, cash‑flow forecasting, payroll oversight, supplier and client payments.
• Run day‑to‑day operations, maintaining efficient internal processes, tools and administration.
• Lead HR administration including onboarding, contracts and supporting headcount growth.
• Introduce and improve systems and automation to make finance and operations faster, cleaner and more scalable.
• Provide clear, timely financial and operational information to leadership for decision‑making.
• Support planning, budgeting and reporting, preparing for future investment and diligence.
• Act as a trusted, reliable partner across the back‑office, delivering work quickly and independently.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with Big 4 training and ~4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Tech‑savvy, comfortable with modern finance, operational software, automation and cloud tools.
• Broad experience across finance, operations and HR, preferably in a small or scaling business.
• Willing and able to work fully on‑site in London.
