Fractional PR Consultant – Legal Sector (Remote, 1 day/month)

About the role

This is a six‑month fractional contract for a senior PR consultant to support a leading flexible‑legal‑talent provider. Working remotely, you will dedicate roughly one day per month to develop and execute a focused public‑relations strategy for the legal and professional‑services market.

Key responsibilities

• Design a simple, results‑driven PR strategy aligned with commercial objectives and existing content.
• Secure coverage and commentary opportunities in legal trade publications (e.g., The Lawyer, Legal Week) and mainstream business media.
• Position the founders as authoritative voices on flexible legal resourcing and NewLaw trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and editors covering legal services, NewLaw and legal recruitment.
• Identify and support reactive commentary linked to market or regulatory developments.
• Advise on awards strategy and industry‑recognition opportunities.
• Amplify key milestones such as Chambers rankings, brand launches and notable mandates through earned media.

Required profile

• Proven PR experience within the legal sector or professional/B2B services, preferably with legal suppliers or services firms.
• Established media contacts across legal trade and business press.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives.
