Franchise Management & Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global entertainment and consumer products business to find a Marketing Assistant for their Franchise Management & Marketing team. This 12‑month contract role is based in London and offers an early‑career professional the chance to work across the EMEA region, supporting the launch and promotion of world‑recognised entertainment franchises.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain EMEA marketing materials, including presentations, toolkits and promotional content, ensuring brand compliance and engagement.
• Support high‑profile industry events such as licensing summits, trade shows and key licensee/retailer meetings.
• Coordinate distribution of franchise and marketing content throughout the EMEA region.
• Manage marketing submissions through internal systems from brief to completion.
• Facilitate internal, external and third‑party approvals, working closely with Legal, Brand Assurance and Talent teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with licensee marketing contacts, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Gather industry and competitive trend information from sales, retail, creative, product development and insights teams, as well as external sources.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a marketing role or relevant internships.
• Experience in retail, entertainment, consumer products, media or a fast‑paced consumer‑focused environment is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence to engage internal and external partners.
• Genuine passion for brands, marketing and entertainment.
• Strong organisational ability to juggle multiple projects without losing detail.
• Collaborative mindset with initiative and self‑motivation to work independently.
