Freelance Facade Manager – 12 month hotel project

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Facade Manager to lead the external envelope works on a new‑build hotel in Liverpool. The role is for a 12‑month contract, offering a competitive daily rate and the chance to work on a high‑profile commercial project.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specialist façade, glazing and cladding subcontractors to meet programme targets.
• Ensure all external works comply with quality standards, specifications and fire‑safety regulations.
• Promote health and safety on site, conduct inductions and enforce RAMS and safety protocols.
• Coordinate material deliveries and access equipment such as scaffolding, mast climbers and MEWPs.
• Carry out regular site inspections, resolve technical snags and provide progress reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Facade or External Envelope Manager on high‑value commercial or hotel projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of modern façade, cladding and glazing systems and associated fire‑stopping regulations.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Management) and First Aid at Work certifications.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
