Freelance PR Consultant – UK Fashion Platform Launch

About the role

We are seeking a freelance PR consultant to help generate buzz for a new UK‑based fashion platform that will debut at London Fashion Week 2025. The role is remote, UK‑based preferred, and runs from May to July, focusing on media outreach, storytelling, and securing coverage across press, podcasts, and radio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a concise PR strategy for the launch period.
• Craft and distribute press releases and key messaging.
• Pitch journalists, editors, podcast hosts and cultural platforms.
• Secure press features, interviews, podcast slots and radio appearances.
• Track media engagement and advise on follow‑up actions.
• Collaborate closely with the founder to ensure messaging aligns with the platform’s mission.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fashion, cultural or purpose‑led PR.
• Strong network of UK media contacts, both traditional and independent.
• Passion for equity, inclusion and creative storytelling.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating when needed.
• Enthusiasm for supporting emerging brands.
