Freelance Social Media & Content Specialist – Accessible Travel

About the role

We are an accessible travel company preparing to launch a new website in early‑mid October 2026. Our mission is to make travel more inclusive, transparent and hassle‑free for people with disabilities. We need a freelance Social Media & Content Specialist to build momentum ahead of launch and establish our social presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a social media content plan and launch strategy.
• Create engaging posts, captions and creative assets that communicate our brand, founder story and mission.
• Produce content around accessible travel, destinations, properties and industry topics.
• Manage and schedule content across social channels, potentially using Buffer.
• Maintain tone of voice and brand guidelines consistently.
• Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and wider team.
• Turn existing brand guidelines and manifesto into strong, consistent social content.

Required profile

• Strong social media and content creation experience.
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Creative, proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience with travel, accessibility, disability or purpose‑led brands is a plus.
• Comfortable working quickly towards a launch.
