French-speaking Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Financial Accountant to support our Monaco entity while based in our Manchester office. The role combines day‑to‑day accounting responsibilities with cross‑border collaboration, ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full accounting cycle for the Monaco entity, including journal entries, general ledger postings and month‑end close.
• Manage the local ERP system and upload results to the global ERP, supporting data mapping and system consolidation.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and IFRS reporting.
• Provide weekly trading data to shareholders and work closely with finance teams in Monaco, Group Finance and Commercial Finance to resolve issues.
• Assist internal and external auditors, monitor regulatory changes and contribute to ad‑hoc projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Fluent in written and spoken French; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems and month‑end close processes.
