French Speaking Payroll and Operations Administrator

About the role

A well-established international manufacturing business undergoing transformation and growth across its European operations is looking for a French-speaking Payroll and Operations Administrator in Manchester. The role is office-based and starts with UK payroll management and HR coordination and administrative support, especially for France, with the chance to grow into broader responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate processing of the monthly UK payroll and related payroll administration
• Provide HR administrative support across employee documentation and HR processes
• Act as a key point of contact for employee and manager queries on HR and payroll matters
• Coordinate payroll information for smaller international locations
• Support the French HR and Payroll team, including payroll cover when needed
• Maintain HR records and reporting and contribute to continuous improvement and wider HR projects

Required profile

• Previous experience managing UK payroll processes and payroll administration
• Fluent French and English, written and spoken
• HR administration or HR coordination experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of a business
• Proactive and adaptable, interested in developing broader HR and international payroll responsibilities
