Full Stack PHP Developer

About the role

An established tech company based in Cardiff is seeking a Full Stack PHP Developer to join its collaborative team. You will work on an intuitive platform that supports event organisers worldwide, contributing to both front‑end and back‑end development.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain front‑end and back‑end features across the platform.
• Improve and refactor existing functionality for performance and maintainability.
• Develop responsive, user‑friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the public website and support SEO initiatives.
• Participate in planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Solid experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery) and SQL.
• Proficient use of Git for version control.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and responsive design.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver clean, maintainable code.

What we offer

• Salary up to £50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
