Fund Placement Analyst – Private Equity

About the role

Join an independent boutique advisory firm specialising in private equity fund placement. As a Fund Placement Analyst you will support the project management team throughout the fundraising lifecycle, from early‑stage diligence to client‑side advice and execution of GP‑led transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality fundraising materials, including detailed track‑record and portfolio analysis.
• Support investor due‑diligence processes and draft responses to investor requests.
• Assist in GP‑led transactions: portfolio analysis, investor information packages, feedback tracking and bespoke reporting.
• Manage data rooms, documentation and investor access for primary and secondary mandates.
• Conduct market mapping and research on private equity, private debt and infrastructure fund managers.
• Coordinate client meetings, prepare materials, attend sessions and follow up on actions.
• Maintain internal databases, CRM inputs and contribute to weekly client reporting.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in fund placement, investment banking, private equity or corporate finance/transaction advisory (e.g., Big 4).
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce pitchbooks or investor marketing materials.
• Self‑motivated with strong interpersonal skills, able to thrive in a small entrepreneurial team.
• Sharp analytical and numerical capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication.
