Furniture Assembly & Production Operative

About the role

Join a leading bespoke furniture manufacturer serving top hospitality brands. As a Furniture Assembly & Production Operative you will contribute to the creation of high‑quality pieces for hotels such as Hilton, Sheraton and Crowne Plaza.

Key responsibilities

• Follow health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling.
• Assemble furniture components to exacting standards.
• Learn and operate a range of woodworking machinery.
• Carry out quality inspections, identify faults and ensure corrective action.
• Pack finished items for dispatch and assist with material movement between departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in furniture assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to develop skills across upholstery, polishing, spraying and machinery operation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to producing high‑standard work.
• Good communication and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of beam saws.
• Use of CNC machines.
• Handling edge banders.
• General woodworking machinery proficiency.
• Upholstery techniques.
