GCSE Core Tutor (QTS) – Part‑time, Flexible Hours

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver GCSE‑level tuition in Maths and English on a part‑time, flexible basis. This temporary role supports students across Buckinghamshire, helping them achieve their exam targets while fitting around your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in Maths and/or English for GCSE students.
• Plan and tailor personalised lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Support learners of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
• Monitor progress, set realistic targets and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, motivating learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Proven experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
