Geoenvironmental Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Geoenvironmental Site Engineer to join a leading environmental engineering contractor operating across the Central Belt. The role involves delivering ground investigation projects from inception to completion, supporting a growing portfolio of remediation and infrastructure works.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute ground investigation programmes, including desktop studies, surveys and site visits.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and health & safety compliance.
• Prepare, review and author factual reports, technical assessments and remediation strategies.
• Develop proposals and tender documentation for new work.
• Lead and supervise site‑based teams, ensuring quality and commercial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Geotechnical or Geo‑Environmental Engineer.
• Degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, physical geography, environmental science or a related discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commute to Glasgow and surrounding sites.

Required skills

• Ground investigation techniques and methodologies.
• Technical report writing and data interpretation.
• Health & safety management on site.
