Geospatial CAD/Revit Technician

About the role

Ridge and Partners are expanding their Geospatial discipline and are looking for a skilled CAD/Revit Technician to join their Oxford office. You will work on a variety of residential, industrial and commercial projects, supporting clients such as retailers, local authorities and educational institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate 3D Revit models from point‑cloud survey data with varying levels of detail.
• Create 2D AutoCAD plans, elevations and sections from point‑cloud information.
• Set up Revit views on Ridge standard drawing sheets.
• Align survey data and models to real‑world coordinates in Revit/AutoCAD.
• Present model data to clients and issue results through the in‑house drawing lifecycle manager.

Required profile

• Experience working with point‑cloud data in AutoCAD or Revit.
• Understanding of building regulations and planning law is a plus.
• Familiarity with RIBA architectural stages and space‑planning concepts is beneficial.
• Knowledge of RICS measured‑survey standards is advantageous.
