Graduate Behaviour Worker – Youth Support Role

About the role
We are looking for a recent university graduate to join an Alternative Provision school near Devizes as a Graduate Behaviour Worker. In this full‑time position you will support pupils aged 11‑18 with mental‑health needs and challenging behaviour throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support to students in the classroom.
- Help manage and positively influence student behaviour.
- Develop pupils’ social and emotional skills.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Act as a trusted role model for young people.
Required profile
- Recent graduate (e.g., Psychology, Criminology, related fields).
- High level of resilience and willingness to face challenging days.
- Interest in mental health, youth work, or criminal justice.
- Experience working with children or adults with challenging behaviour (beneficial).
- Experience in a school setting (beneficial).
Required skills
What we offer
- Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑15:30.
- Daily rate of £90‑£100.
