Graduate Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field to join a leading UK professional services firm as a Tax Technology Associate. This hybrid role combines technology delivery, data analytics and client‑facing consulting, giving you exposure to FTSE‑listed organisations while developing both technical and commercial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technology and automation solutions for a wide range of enterprise clients.
• Build data analytics solutions to improve business processes.
• Work with low‑code automation platforms and data tools.
• Help clients optimise ERP and finance systems.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders, presenting ideas and demonstrating solutions.
• Learn from experienced consultants and rapidly develop technical and commercial expertise.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, AI, Mathematics or a related subject.
• Strong foundations in Python, SQL and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to work with clients.
• A genuine interest in automation, AI and solving complex business problems.
• A proactive attitude, strong curiosity and a desire to learn quickly.
• Exposure to ERP systems or low‑code tools is advantageous but not essential.
