Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

About the role

This full‑time graduate teaching assistant position is based in a thriving secondary school in Lancing. It offers a fast‑track entry into the teaching profession for recent graduates who are passionate about supporting pupils and developing classroom skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide additional support to pupils in the classroom to raise attainment levels.
• Deliver one‑to‑one or small‑group intervention teaching.
• Assist with planning and delivering lessons.
• Support pupils’ educational and behavioural development.
• Prepare classroom resources and materials.
• Provide feedback to teachers and parents.
