About the role
We are looking for recent graduates who are passionate about education to join our secondary school community near Leatherhead. This full‑time position offers hands‑on classroom experience and mentorship from experienced teachers, providing a solid foundation for a future teaching career.
Key responsibilities
- Work across various subject departments based on your strengths and interests.
- Support teaching and learning in both whole‑class and small‑group settings.
- Receive high‑quality training and mentoring throughout the placement.
- Develop understanding of pedagogy, classroom management and behaviour strategies.
- Be supported to progress onto a teacher‑training programme such as PGCE, School Direct or a salaried route.
Required profile
- Hold (or be on track to achieve) a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Passionate about working with young people and eager to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Committed, resilient and motivated to learn.
- No prior formal teaching experience required – a willingness to grow and reflect is essential.
