Group Reporting Manager

About the role

The Group Reporting Manager will own the consolidation and financial governance of a complex international business. Reporting to senior finance leaders, the role provides high‑visibility exposure across multiple regions and drives the accuracy of group financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group consolidation activities across legal entities, business units and international locations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles, ensuring deadlines are met and consolidated accounts are accurate.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, identifying efficiency and control improvements.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through monthly reconciliations and reviews with local finance teams.
• Support statutory reporting, tax, audit and compliance requirements as the primary contact for group accounting matters.
• Maintain and enhance the General Ledger structure and support finance system developments.
• Partner with operational finance, shared services, treasury and tax functions to ensure consistent processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Group Consolidation team, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in group accounting, shared services or a multinational finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of group consolidations, intercompany accounting, statutory reporting and US GAAP.
• Proven track record of managing month‑end close processes and external audits.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
