Group Warranty Executive – Automotive After‑sales

About the role

Our client, a well‑established automotive retailer in Swindon, is seeking a Group Warranty Executive to join the central after‑sales team. The role involves processing warranty, extended warranty and goodwill claims, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and supporting profitability while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit warranty, extended warranty and goodwill claims accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Invoice and cost warranty claims correctly.
• Provide warranty guidance and support to dealership teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date warranty records and customer information.
• Monitor outstanding claims, resolve issues and ensure prompt recovery.
• Review warranty reports, identify process improvements and implement changes.
• Maintain and store warranty documentation, recall records and supporting evidence.
• Conduct internal warranty audits and report findings.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure consistent warranty procedures.
• Stay informed of policy and procedural updates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in automotive warranty administration.
• Strong knowledge of warranty processes and procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaborative approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
