Head of Contract Recruitment

About the role

We are partnering with an established international recruitment firm to launch a new contract recruitment division in the UK. As Head of Contract Recruitment you will have full autonomy to design, build and lead this business unit, shaping strategy across the UK, Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Create and grow the UK contract recruitment division from the ground up.
• Develop and execute a long‑term commercial strategy for the UK, Europe and US markets.
• Win new business, nurture strategic client relationships and manage a profitable contract desk.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of recruiters as the division scales.
• Collaborate with international leadership to drive overall company expansion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract recruitment, preferably at a managerial or senior consultant level.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams with a commercial focus.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of contract recruitment processes and market dynamics.
• Ability to develop and implement sales and recruitment strategies.
