Head of Enterprise Architecture and IT Delivery

About the role

This senior position will shape the technology direction of a fast‑growing organisation in Edinburgh. You will lead the definition of the enterprise architecture strategy and ensure that large‑scale transformation programmes are delivered on time, on budget and adopted across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy and long‑term technology roadmap.
• Lead major business and technology transformation programmes from concept through delivery.
• Drive adoption of scalable platforms, integrated systems and efficient business processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology investment with business priorities.
• Manage suppliers, partners and internal delivery teams to achieve strategic outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, technology transformation or strategic delivery roles.
• Track record of leading complex technology or business transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations and architecture principles.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Commercially minded approach to technology investment and change delivery.
