Head of Finance – Central London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, PE‑owned services business to recruit a Head of Finance for its Central London office. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week on site, and offers the chance to shape the finance function at a pivotal stage of expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, delivering accurate monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end reporting, statutory accounts, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Manage and develop the Finance Manager and build a high‑performing finance team.
• Drive process improvements and finance system implementations.
• Provide commercial insight to support strategic business decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an all‑round finance leader in an SME or mid‑size organisation.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with a track record of robust financial reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management for budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
• Demonstrated people‑management skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
