Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the financial management of the London Heathrow Passenger Reduced Mobility Services (PRS) contract within the Transport & Aviation Division. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with operational teams, contract managers and Heathrow Airport stakeholders to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial guidance and act as the primary finance partner for the PRS contract and ABM leadership team.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning and monthly reporting, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
• Ensure full financial compliance with Heathrow Airport contractual requirements and support contract negotiations, pricing reviews and change requests.
• Maintain robust financial controls, oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end processes, and manage internal and external audit requirements.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve productivity, workforce planning and cost efficiency through data‑driven analysis.
• Identify opportunities to enhance profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency, and develop scenario modelling to support business cases.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in finance within a complex, contract‑driven environment.
• Proven ability to partner with operational and commercial leaders and translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, financial governance and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
